As an ecumenical Christian organization, we work toward eliminating substandard housing and empowering families in Mahaska County.
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat builds and rehabilitates simple, decent houses alongside our homeowner partner families.
Mahaska County Habitat for Humanity is a people-to-people partnership drawing together individuals and communities to build decent, affordable housing. We are committed to the development and uplifting of people and communities, not only the development of housing.
Founded August 12, 1993
